Personal news: Joining the European Commission from 1 November for a nine-month "China Fellowship"

    Personal news: I am very excited to announce that I will be seconded to the European Commission from 1 November 2023. I have been offered a fellowship at IDEA, the in-house advisory think tank that reports to the President of the European Commission. I will serve as one of five "China Fellows", a new program that has been set up to bring external expertise on the PRC in.

    I will be on leave of absence from the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP) for the coming months. I am looking forward to staying in touch with you from my new position in Brussels during the period of the fellowship.
